Before and After Photos
The photographs shown here are merely examples of what was achieved using the techniques and materials available at Burpengary Dental. In no way do we guarantee that you will receive the exact same results because every individual patient will have different tooth structure and anatomy.
Tooth 44 had a previous weaker type of composite resin which had worn badly and eventually cracked. The area was always trapped a lot of food.
The rough filling adjacent to the tooth was contoured and a new, stronger composite was placed. The new restoration was contoured to reduce the food trap and it was also placed higher so that the bite was not as deep.

Tooth 32 was heavily restored and dark as it had a lot of discolouration following root canal treatment many years ago.
The old restorations were removed, the gum was isolated from the margins of the tooth and the dark areas were masked before the tooth was restored with composite resin.

Tooth 22 was lost due to a fractured root. This was replaced with a bonded bridge which was bonded to the adjacent tooth 23.
The restoration replaces the missing tooth and also simulates some of the missing gum as well. The tooth can still be flossed with standard floss as it is not bonded on both sides.

Tooth 12 was broken so that only about 1/3 of the tooth remained. Pins were placed and the tooth was restored with composite resin. In future a porcelain crown may be necessary.
